FileDrop data deletion requests

Merchants and customers can contact Digi Pioneers Inc. to request deletion of FileDrop-related data.

How to request deletion

Email info@digipioneers.ca with the subject line “FileDrop Data Deletion Request.”

Please include enough information for us to locate the data, such as:

  • Shopify store domain
  • Order number, if applicable
  • Customer email or reference used in the order, if applicable
  • A description of the upload or text data you want deleted

Customer requests

If you are a customer of a Shopify store using FileDrop, we may need to coordinate with the merchant because the merchant controls the order relationship and may have legal or fulfillment obligations related to the order.

Retention limitations

Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes where permitted by law.
